Start your career with us in our busy depot in Forfar, working with experienced engineers and our parts experts, you can gather experience working with a wide range of Groundcare, Horticultural and Agricultural machinery on different tasks such as servicing, repair, maintenance, on-site repairs, installation and more.

Candidates who show commitment and potential will be put forward to work towards a qualification in Land-based engineering at Oatridge College (Start dates dependent on spaces) on block release.

Areas of responsibility:

• Repairing Agricultural, Horticultural & Groundcare Equipment
•  Servicing a variety of equipment
• Carry out the above in our workshop and On-Site
• Operation of the equipment involved in the above
• Assembly of equipment
• Any other duties as required

All the equipment we supply is fully assembled and on handover to our customer, we advise and instruct on the correct use and maintenance. We are always available post-sale to help with any queries you may have.

The Person 

The role is depot-based, and we require someone preferably with an interest in repairing Groundcare Machinery

• Preferred Candidates should be school leavers with a minimum of 2+ Nat 5 in English and Maths preferred, others considered.
• Have a strong interest and/or experience in repairing mechanical equipment
• Be able to produce clear, legible handwriting
• Be a good problem solver
• Have a willingness to learn and work with others

Successful applicants will enjoy excellent working conditions and be required to attend block release at college.

Salary Range: £15,000.00 – Rising throughout the apprenticeship depending on age and progression
