STIHL HLA40

The STIHL HLA 40 is a cordless long-reach hedge trimmer tool, which is the first of its kind, the AK system.

Compact and lightweight, this hedgetrimmer is ideal for cutting taller hedges, shrubs and bushes in your garden. Powered by an interchangeable AS2 battery, which can be used in other STIHL AS System tools.

With a telescopic shaft and adjustable cutting bar, this tool is versatile for a range of trimming tasks. It has a length of 2.6m and is lightweight, weighing 3.7kg, making it ideal for cutting tall hedges from the ground. Easy to adjust to your desired height, the shoulder strap clips on quickly for added comfort when working on longer jobs.

To easily tackle the sides and top of hedges, the HLA 40 has tool-free blade angle adjustment, where you can set the cutter bar to 3 different angles, from minus 45° degrees to plus 70° degrees.

The hedgetrimmer can be split, which reduces the overall length from 260 to 115cm for easy transport and storage.

Cannot be used with Kombi attachments, HTA 30 pruner head, RTS harness or shaft extension.

Working time with AS 2 battery is up to 40 minutes.
