Gammies began in 1968 when Allan Gammie, an agricultural machinery salesman, purchased ironmongers and saddlers in Laurencekirk.
As Allan Gammie’s business grew, the focus changed from agricultural machinery to groundcare equipment and Gammies was soon acknowledged as the groundcare equipment specialist in and around Aberdeen and Angus. A move from Laurencekirk to our purpose-built premises in Forfar in 2000 enabled further expansion by Gammies Groundcare Ltd, which was purchased by AM Phillip Ltd in 2011.
Today, 25 employees operate out of the Forfar premises- and every one of us is dedicated to ensuring Gammies continues to strengthen its reputation for providing excellent advice, first-class equipment, top-quality after-sales support and the highest possible standards of customer service.
